Kids

Kids belong here

A safe, joyful, multiethnic space where children are known, loved, and formed in the way of Jesus.

At Access, kids are a central part of our life together — not an add-on. On Sundays we make room for children to worship, play, ask big questions, and be known by name.

Sunday mornings

Children join the start of worship with their families, then kids from preschool through 5th grade head to Kids Church for a Bible story, songs, crafts, and conversation shaped for their age. Nursery care is available for infants and toddlers, and middle and high schoolers stay in the main gathering. On 1st Sundays at First Tongan UMC we share a community meal together, so kids and parents eat with the whole church family.

Ages we serve

Nursery (0–2), preschool (3–5), and elementary (kindergarten–5th grade). Kids with additional support needs are welcome — tell us what helps your child thrive and we'll plan with you.

Safety and check-in

Every child is checked in through our secure Kids Check-In system. At check-in your child and each approved pickup adult receive matching color-coded wristbands, and a child is only released to an adult whose wristband matches. Kids ministry volunteers serve in pairs, complete a background check and child-safety training, and every check-in and check-out is logged for staff review.
