Our Beliefs

Access Covenant Church flows from the tradition of the Evangelical Covenant Church, where the stated mission is as follows:

“To join God in God's mission to see more disciples among more populations in a more caring and just world.”

As such, we adhere to a series of affirmations that form the theological distinctives of our denomination. Foremost among them are the following:

• the centrality of the word of God,
• the necessity of the new birth,
• a commitment to the whole mission of the Church,
• the Church as a fellowship of believers,
• a conscious dependence on the Holy Spirit, and
• the reality of freedom in Christ.
