What's the deal with this check-in form?

In order to explain this form, we should stop and acknowledge how things typically happen in a church as small as ours.

When someone comes to church, they are seen and greeted by a number of people. Not just the official "greeters" at the door, but anyone else they know and feel connected to. Before, during or after the service, maybe they get ten or fifteen minutes to catch up and reconnect. If they're new to our church, maybe they have to spend that time introducing themselves and telling the same version of their story four or five times. And the only people responsible for knowing these details are the people who are already up to their eyeballs in responsibilities at the church, coordinating events, helping with worship ministry, kids ministry, or youth group. If they happen to remember all the details, great… but odds are, they probably will miss some of them.

At Access Church, we don't want people falling through the cracks of rushed conversations and faulty memories.

We want to know who you are, and what you're dealing with.

We want to learn your name, the name of your kids or spouse (if you have any), and how to pronounce them all correctly. We want to know how we can pray for you, and what needs or burdens you have that can be lifted and shared in the context of this community.

And we don't want the pastors, staff or lead team to have to remember all that without getting a chance to write it down!

So this form is how you can write it down for us.

• Access Church will not share your info with any third parties without your consent
• Access Church will use encryption protocols to keep confidential prayer requests confidential, limited to staff and lead team only
• Access Church will only disseminate prayer requests and other personal details through approved internal channels, never on our website or email newsletter without your expressed written permission
