Today’s Small&Mighty Justice Action

LAST DAY TO EMAIL YAMHILL COUNTY ABOUT ELOHEH - we’ve just learned that only submissions until 11:59 tonight will be considered. See below.
Small & Mighty
Dear Access family:
Two weeks ago, we talked about ways to dispel fear and hopelessness. One of those ways is to lean into who we are - a group of deeply committed believers who seek justice and are willing to do what we can, where we are, with what we already have, by taking small actions as often as possible.
*Please consider this small & mighty action for today:*
Send a quick email to the Yamhill County Board of Commissioners in support of *Eloheh Indigenous Center for Earth Justice* and the work of Randy and Edith Woodley.
Here’s the quick points for how to act; click the box “Eloheh”to learn more:
TALKING POINTS FOR LETTERS TO COMMISSIONERS
Send to:
Yamhill County Board of Commissioners
535 NE Fifth Street
McMinnville, OR 97128
Or email: bocinfo@co.yamhill.or.us
Points you might include (in your own words):
I support Eloheh Indigenous Center's appeal for religious accommodation
Indigenous spirituality requires extended, land-based gathering—it cannot be practiced in a building for an hour on Sunday
The Woodleys are respected educators and authors who have served Indigenous communities for over 30 years
Religious freedom should protect all faiths, including those whose practices look different from mainstream Christianity
Please find a way to accommodate their religious practice rather than restrict it
[Optional: Share how you know us (Randy and Edith), or why our work matters to you]
*Tips:*
Keep it brief—a few sentences to a short paragraph is fine
Be respectful—we're asking for accommodation, not attacking the commissioners
Personal connection matters—if you've visited Eloheh or been impacted by our teaching, please say so
Send before February 11 so they receive it before the hearing.
